2) Remove the 2 screws [1], and disconnect the 2
connectors [2]; then, remove the auto registration
sensor PCB (front) [3].
MEMO:
The auto registration sensor PCB (rear) is also
removed in the same way.

Points to Note When Attaching the Auto
Registration Sensor PCB
When Attaching the plate [1], be sure that its edge is
farther on the inner side than the cleaning member [2].

9.8.20 SALT Sensor

9.8.20.1 Pressure Release of the
Intermediate Transfer Unit
1) Open the front cover, and turn the intermediate
transfer unit releasing lever to unlock it.
2) Slide out the manual feed unit.
3) Remove the screw [1], and detach the middle right
cover [2].
