AC Power Circuit Breaker Specifications
Each AC power supply has a single AC appliance inlet located on the power supply
that requires a dedicated AC power feed. We recommend that you use a customer
site circuit breaker rated for 15 A (250 VAC) minimum for each AC power supply,
or as permitted by local code. Doing so enables you to operate the services gateway
in any configuration without upgrading the power infrastructure.
Power Requirements for AC-Powered Services Gateways
NOTE: If you plan to operate a maximally configured AC-powered services gateway,
we recommend that you provision 33 A @ 100 VAC or 14 A @ 240 VAC for the
system, or 11.0 A @ 200 VAC or 14.5 A @ 110 VAC for each power supply.
If you do not plan to provision 33 A @ 100 VAC or 14 A @ 240 VAC for the system,
or 11.0 A @ 200 VAC or 14.5 A @ 110 VAC for each power supply, you can use the
information in Table 37 on page 193 and Table 38 on page 193 to calculate power
consumption for various hardware configurations, and thermal output.
