local Determines where a
Remote Annex will

local and remote IP
addresses to use as
the endpoints of a
PPP/IPCP link. This
parameter works
only when the mode
parameter is set to
"slip" or "ppp".
Y Enables or disables
the T1 alarm event
syslogs.
Y Permits the port to
receive Annex
administrative
broadcasts.
N The Annex uses
TCP/IP header
compression if the
SLIP/PPP link's end
point also uses
compression.
