Release the locking lever.

Mount and tighten screw

Slide the premounted shift shaft

Press the sliding plate away from the shift drum locating. Insert the shift shaft all
the way.
–
Let the sliding plate engage in the shift drum locating.
The ends of the return spring must be in contact with the engine housing pro-
jection

Slide on starter idler gear

Slide on washer

Insert the bearing bolt.

Mount both needle bearings
