The triangular plates should be oil-free to prevent them from slipping
against each other when they are tightened.
Ensure that the triangular plates precisely cover the double drill holes.

Mount and tighten piston rod nut

Assemble the rear shock absorber. (

Remove the rear shock absorber. (

Clamp the shock absorber into the vise with soft jaws.

Remove flange adapter

Turn over the shock absorber and remove flange adapter
