5.14 Sensor Types Programming (Advanced)

Select Sensor Types from the menu.
Sensors can be programmed to be one of 32 different sensor configurations (sensor type
profiles). Sensors are fully configurable in the ZeroWire panel. These features are considered
advanced programming and should only be changed with a thorough understanding of the
operation of each bit.
1 Sensor Type Number (1 – 32)
The ZeroWire can support a total of 32 Sensor
Types. Each Sensor Type is identified by a unique
number, which cannot be altered, and remains as
the key reference for each Sensor Type.
Sensor type profiles can also change depending on whether the areas they are in are armed or

2 Sensor Type Name
Each Sensor Type can be configured with a custom
32 character name. The name is displayed
wherever a Sensor Type is referenced on the
ZeroWire system.
