3. Slowly, push the scanner unit over the main unit. (This prevents the scanner unit from falling onto the
floor.)
4. Slowly, lift the scanner unit and set it on top of the left rear corner of the scanner stand [A].
5. Place the square handle of a screwdriver or a block of wood or cardboard between the front left
corner of the unit and the rack frame [B].
• A block of wood 10 cm long and 2 cm thick (4 x 1 in.) is ideal.
• This block stabilizes the front end and prevents it from falling.
