Configuration
• The scanner unit and main unit are mounted on separate racks.
• The units can be easily separated for servicing, or for placing the scanner on a low table or desk so
it can be operated from a sitting position.
Image registration
The DRESS (Direct Realization Edge Scanning Sensor) sensor, mounted on the left side of the carriage
unit, functions as a paper registration sensor and image registration sensor.
