Remove the front camshafts. (

Raise cam lever

Remove shims
–
Correct and insert the shims as indicated by the results of the valve clearance
check.

Install the front camshafts. (

The valve cover has been removed.

Check the markings of the camshaft.

The markings are shown with the camshafts removed for purposes of illus-
tration.
Removal is not necessary.
Align center marking

If the markings do not align:

Adjust the rear cylinder control time. (

The valve cover has been removed.

Remove special tool
Engine blocking screw (61229015000) (

Set the engine to the ignition top dead center of the front cylinder and screw in
special tool

Check the markings of the camshaft.
