ENGINE CONTROL TROUBLE CODE
CAN-high - the signal wire has a short circuit to sensor ground
Condition
The ignition is off.
The diagnostics tool is disconnected.
The EFI control unit is disconnected. (
The break out box is connected to the wiring harness.
The CAN bus terminating resistor is disconnected. (
The immobilizer control unit is disconnected. (
The instrument panel is disconnected.
CAN-high - check the signal wire for a short circuit to sensor ground

Measure the resistance between the specified points.
Break out box CO pin 19 – Break Out Box AO pin 7

If the specifications have not been met:

Check the cable from connector EV (
to sensor ground.
–
Check the cable from connector DO (
to sensor ground.
–
Check the cable from connector AT (
to sensor ground.
–
Check the cable from connector AP (
to sensor ground.
–
Check the cable from connector CU (
cuit to sensor ground.

If the specifications have been met:

Check the next possible cause:
CAN-low - the signal wire has a short circuit to sensor ground (
