ENGINE CONTROL TROUBLE CODE

Check connector CP (
–
Check the cable from EFI control unit connector CO (
plus (terminal 30).
–
Check connector CP (

If the specifications have been met:
–
Check the next possible cause:
Motor drive circuit A phase A - the signal wire has a short circuit to ignition plus (terminal 15) (
Motor drive circuit A phase A - the signal wire has a short circuit to ignition plus (terminal 15)
Condition
The ignition is off.
The EFI control unit is disconnected. (
The break out box is connected to the wiring harness.
Motor drive circuit A phase A - check the signal wire for a short circuit to ignition plus (terminal 15)

Measure the resistance between the specified points.
Break out box CO pin 23 – Break Out Box AO pin 20
Resistance

If the specifications have not been met:
–
Check the cable from EFI control unit connector CO (
ignition plus (terminal 15).

Check the cable from connector CP (
(terminal 15).
–
Check the cable from EFI control unit connector CO (
ignition plus (terminal 15).

Check the cable from connector CP (
(terminal 15).

If the specifications have been met:

Check the next possible cause:

Condition
