Support for HD1080p Resolution

The Collaboration Server Hosted deployment supports HD1080p30 video resolution symmetrically for direct
calls.
The Lync 2013 AVMCU Cascade deployment supports HD1080p30 video resolution only if
mode is selected and according to the settings of the LYNC_AVMCU_1080p30_ENCODE _RESOLUTION
System Flag:
NO (Default)—Video streams sent to and received from the Lync 2013 AVMCU are HD720p30, SD,
and CIF.
YES—Video streams sent to the Lync 2013 AVMCU are HD1080p30, SD, and CIF. Video streams
received from the Lync 2013 AVMCU are 720p30, SD, and CIF.

Limit Maximum Resolution for MS SVC Using a System flag

The MAX_MS_SVC_RESOLUTION System Flag can be used to minimizing the resource usage by
overriding the default resolution selection and limiting it to a lower resolution.
