The Video Output module provides following features:
• digital interface to TFT displays with up to 18 bpp resolution in RGB
(666) format
• support of different synchronization signals:
- composite sync CSYNC
- separate sync HSYNC and VSYNC
- selectable polarity of sync signals
- programmable timing of HSYNC and VSYNC
- valid VOnCLK data input clock edge selectable
• support of different colour formats:
- internal 8 bpp CLUT(8) via 256 entries CLUT (colour look-up
table) to external iRGB(1555)
- internal true colour 16 bpp RGB(565) to external RGB(565)
- internal true colour 24 bpp RGB(888) to external RGB(666)
• display geometry:
- width and height programmable
- maximum resolution (1024 x 1024) pixels
