Description
OSPF point-to-point eliminates the need for
Designated and Backup Designated routers,
allowing for faster convergence of the network.
Neighbor Local Autonomous System (AS) feature
allows a router that is a member of one AS to appear
to be a member of another AS.
In this release, sFlow packets now contain full AP
Path information.
Policy-Based Routing (PBR) allows you to use ACLs
and route maps to selectively modify and route IP
packets in hardware. The ACLs classify the traffic.
Route maps that match on the ACLs set routing
attributes for the traffic.
Multicast enhancement
Description
The device supports IGMP snooping.
Security enhancements
Description
Multi-device port authentication is now supported on
the device.
This release allows you to enable 802.1X port
security and multi-device port authentication on the
same interface.
