Viewing a Saved Host Configuration from a File (.qlc)
When a host is offline, you can view a virtual image of its host configuration that
you saved to an external file in your working directory.
This section discusses:

Saving the Host Configuration to a File
Perform the following steps to save a host configuration to a .qlc file:
1. Do one of the following:

Delete one or more entries as follows:
a. Select the device entries that you want to delete.
b. Click Delete to remove the entries.
c. The Security Check dialog box displays. In the Enter Password box,
type the password. Click OK.
Changes made to the persistent configuration are final. If you do
not want the changes, reconfigure the host
Click Cancel to not delete an entry.
From the SANsurfer FC HBA Manager main window, perform the following
steps:
a. In the HBA tree, select the host (or HBA, HBA port, device, or LUN
connected to the host).
b. Do one of the following:
From the Host menu, click Save, then click To File.

Right-click the host (or HBA, HBA port, device, or LUN connected to

the host) in the HBA tree. From the pop-up menu, click Save, then
click To File.
Press CTRL+S.

From the Fibre Channel Port Configuration dialog box File menu, select
Save Configuration to File.
