To disable or reenable Web AAA on the WX:
1 Do one of the following:
Open the WX Switch wizard, then select HTTPS, Telnet, SSH & Web
Auth under Management Services in the organizer list of the System
and Administrative page.
In the Organizer panel, select Management Services under a WX
switch or Domain Policies, then select Edit > Properties. Click on
HTTPS, Telnet, SSH & Web Auth at the top of the wizard.
2 Select Enabled to enable Web AAA access, or clear Enabled to disable
Web AAA access. By default, Web AAA access is enabled.
3 Do one of the following:
Go to "Configuring SNMP".
Select another item in the WX Switch wizard, if you are using this
wizard.
Click Finish to close the wizard and save changes.
You can monitor your network by using the Simple Network
Management Protocol (SNMP). SNMP is a protocol used to exchange
information about network activity between network devices. By default,
SNMP is disabled.
You can configure the following SNMP parameters:
Enable or disable SNMP service on the WX.
Enable SNMP traps.
Specify read-only and read-write community strings.
Specify SNMP trap receivers.
When a WX switch is added to the monitoring service's list of monitored
switches, all SNMP traps are automatically enabled on the switch and the
monitoring service is added to the switch's list of trap receivers. (See
"Selecting WX Switches to Monitor" on page 545.)
To configure SNMP:
1 Do one of the following:
Open the WX Switch wizard, then select SNMP under Management
Services in the organizer list of the System and Administrative page.
