For the monitoring service to access the WX switch, the WX switch must
have an enable password configured by the WX switch administrator. To
configure or change the enable password on the WX switch, use the set
enablepass command.
e Click OK to add the WX switch to the monitoring service. The WX
switch appears in the table.
To close the Monitored WX dialog box without saving changes, click
Cancel.
5 To remove a WX switch from the monitoring service, select the WX switch
and click Remove. The WX switch is removed from the table.
6 To modify monitoring service parameters for a WX switch, select the WX
switch, then click Modify. The Monitored WX dialog box is displayed.

7 To enable SNMP traps on a monitored WX switch and add the monitoring
service to the WX switch's list of trap receivers, select the WX switch, then
click Configure Traps. The WX Trap Configuration dialog box is
displayed.
By default, the options to enable SNMP traps and to add the monitoring
service to the list of trap receivers for the WX switch are selected.
8 Click Finish.
The options are already selected in the dialog box, but they are not
enabled until you display the dialog box and click Finish.
When you click Finish, these SNMP settings are enabled on the WX
switch in the network plan. However, the changes are not automatically
deployed to the WX switch in the live network. You must deploy the
