1. Measure the brush length. Replace the brush holder
assembly if the brush length is shorter than the specified
value.
Brush Length a: Standard Value
13.9 to 14.2 mm (0.547 to 0.559 in)
Wear Limit a:
9.5 mm (0.374 in)
2. Check the conductivity of the brush holder assembly.
Replace it if the value is not as specified.
