Install the rocker arms 2, collars 3, springs 4, washers

5, lifter 6, and collars 7 while inserting the rocker arm
shaft 1 into the cylinder head.
• Install the lifter in the direction shown in the
diagram.
• Apply 4-stroke engine oil to the rocker arm shaft
outer periphery, rocker arms, adjusting screws,
adjusting nuts, collars, springs, washers, and
lifter.
28) Installation of Oil Pump
1. Supply approximately 2 ml of 4-stroke engine oil to the oil
passage a.
Install the gasket and oil pump 1.
2.
• Align the camshaft pin c to the notch b on the
oil pump drive shaft.
• Apply 4-stroke engine oil to the insertion area d
of the oil pump.
