7. Meters

1) Installation of Meters

When installing meters, select a place on the dashboard
1 where the operator can see them easily and they are
not exposed to water spray.
The meters can be installed on dashboards 1 that are 2
to 11 mm (0.08 to 0.43 in) thick. If the thickness exceeds
11 mm (0.43 in), cut the fitting plate 2 to size so that the
meters can be installed.
• Installation angle
When installing meters, install them at a mounting angle
a between 50° and 80°.
• Installation opening
To install the meters, make holes of the following sizes
on the dashboard.
• Tachometer 3 and speedometer
Installation hole b
• Trim meter 4
Installation hole c
• Tachometer Settings
Set the selector 5 on the back of the meter to "12P."
If you do not use the meter on the remote
control model, install Cable terminal plug 6
(3VS-76037-0) prevent from a short circuit.
