13.3 PLAY REGULATION FOR VERTICAL
REGULATIONS
To adjust the play for the seat and handlebar vertical slider:
- unscrew the screws (A);
- lift the cover (B);
- loosen the screw (D) and slightly loosen the screw (C);
- slide the handlebar/seat vertically multiple times to release the regulations;
- tighten the screw (C) to the stop. Afterwards, loosen the screw (C) 90°;
- test the vertical sliding movement by moving the handlebar/seat up and down. There are two
possible cases:
1.
if OK, proceed with regulation the screw (D). In particular, tighten the screw (D) gradually to
reach a correct balance between the play of the handlebar/seat and the rigidity of the sliding
movement;
2.
if NOT OK, loosen the screw (C) a further 90° (usually a total loosening of 180° is sufficient).
Test the vertical sliding movement and if it is OK, proceed with regulation the screw (D). In
particular, tighten the screw (D) gradually to reach a correct balance between the play of the
handlebar/seat and the rigidity of the sliding movement.
- lower the cover (B);
- tighten the screws (A).
If the screws (C) and (D) are tightened (to the right), sliding becomes harder.
If the screws (C) and (D) are loosened (to the left), sliding becomes easier.
If necessary, clean the column of the handlebar/seat using a neutral detergent.
