- Disable +CR;
- Select DTR;
- Select the Baud rate 19200;
- In the section Receive select Cnt = HEX instead of ASCII;
- In the section Receive select Hex;
- Click Connect, to the top left;

6. Read the GEAR RATIO using the command from the terminal: $EA$00$EA$F6
An example of a correct response is: F1 EA 04 30 30 35 33 A7 F6 F3 F6 04 ED F6, where
F1 = identifies that the command was launched correctly;
EA = does not have any meaning for us;
04 = bit reference number; the value must always be 04;
30 30 35 33 = value that identifies which generator is set in the Watt Sensor board;
The following is necessary to identify which generator is set in the Watt Sensor board: read from
the right to the left (33 35 30 30), subtracting 30 from each number. The result is (3 5 0 0): therefore
in this case, the FEGO generator is set.
To summarise, if the response contains the value:
a) 30 30 35 33 = value to be read from the right to the left ( 33 – 35 – 30 – 30). Subtract 30 from
each number (3 5 0 0)
3500 = the generator set in the Watt Sensor board is the Fego generator.
