EXECUTABLE SW FOR DIAGNOSTICS WITH PC :
TERMINAL

9.1 ACCESSING THE TERMINAL SW

1.
Remove the console from the Group Cycle handlebar.
2.
Connect the USB cable to the PC and connect it to the console via the MINI USB connector;
wait 5 seconds until the LCD illuminates.
The LCD will begin to blink and the keypad will turn off after approx. 20/30 sec. However the equip-
ment will continue interacting with the PC.
3.
The first time that the PC is connected with New Group Cycle (D92) or Skillmill or MYRUN
TECHNOGYM or MYCYCLING or SKILLROW, the PC asks to install a driver for the detect-
ed device. Stop the automatic search for the driver on Windows update and select the manual
path on your PC where the file was previously saved, which can be downloaded from TG
Direct: myrun_usb_driver.inf.
The New Group Cycle (D92) or Skillmill or MYRUN TECHNOGYM or MYCYCLING or
SKILLROW drivers are the same, therefore once the driver has been installed for one of the listed
items of equipment, the procedure does not need to be repeated for the others.
In case of problems with the "Terminal" executable: close the program, disconnect the USB cable
and in sequence, reconnect the USB cable and restart the executable again.
The protocol described by the document defines the set of messages that can be sent to the equip-
ment. The messages are purely ASCII. This executable can be used to perform a series of reading
and diagnostic operations and receive the responses from the system.
4.
Launch the software: Terminal.exe.
5.
The first time the executable is opened, set a few settings on the screen as shown below:
- Click Rescan, to the top left;
- Select the correct COM port;
- flag +CR;
- Select DTR;
- Select the Baud rate 19200;
- Click Connect, to the top left;
Document uncontrolled when printed
