If a leakage is detected, perform the following.
1. Shut off all electrical power. Shut off the source of power at the main panel breaker and use appropriate tag-out procedures to
prevent accidental power-up.
2. Depressurize the UV unit.
3. Remove ballast box cover and remove the rubber boot.
4.
Locate which end of the quartz sleeve is leaking.
Repairing Leaks
If both ends of the quartz sleeve are leaking, perform the following on both ends.
1. Use a channel lock to loosen and remove the compression nut.
2.
Remove the quartz sleeve O-ring without pulling the quartz sleeve out.
