Maintenance Plan for ETD Pump
The following maintenance table details the proper maintenance required for the ETD in order to ensure optimal
functioning.

•
Change the seal kit of the ETD (Repair #4).
•
Resurface
Sliding Distributor Panels (Repair #1)
Sliding Control Panel (Repair #2)
Polish (with industrial scrub "scotch brite" type) superficial marks on the surface such as:
1. Cylinders (Item #4)
2. Distributor Shaft (Item #7)
3. Shaft (Item #6)
4. Distributor Stoppers (Item #5)
5. Spacer (Item #14, Item #2)
6. Distributor Plate (Item #2, Repair #1)
•
Visually verify that the surfaces do not have deep scratches across. If surfaces are
scratched, they could produce water leaks or accelerate the wear of the components with
those they are in contact with (seals, sliding panels, etc.)
•
Repeat the 500 hours ETD maintenance giving special attention to wear on the surfaces
specified in the previous paragraph:
•
Verify the condition of the following components and replace them if worn:
1. Sliding Distributor Panels (Item #10)
2. Sliding Control Panel (Item #9)
3. Distributor pistons (Item #12)
4. Pistons (Item #11)
5. Central sliding panel (Item #8)
•
Repeat the 500 hours maintenance giving special attention to the wear of the surfaces
specified in the previous paragraph.
•
Change the following Items:
1. Sliding Distributor panel (Item #10)
2. Sliding Control Panel (Item #9)
3. Distributor pistons (Item #12)
4. Pistons (Item #11)
5. Central sliding panel (Item #8)
•
Thoroughly inspect the wear on the shaft of the distributor (Item #7) and in the shaft
(Item #6). Replace any elements, which have excessive wear.
•
At 6000 hours of pump operation, repeat maintenance from point 1 to point 4 of this
table.
