SYMPTOM 4: SYSTEM SHUTS DOWN DURING OPERATION AND THE "High/Low Pressure" lamp
is illuminated after the System shut down.
POSSIBLE CAUSE:
System shut down by the Low Pressure Switch [10]
o
System shut down by the High Pressure Switch [11]
o
Press the "Fault Reset" switch at the Touch Pad, restart the system, monitor the pressure gauges to determine
what corrective action is needed as outlined in the previous pages of this section.
SYMPTOM 5: SYSTEM SHUT DOWN DURING OPERATION. THE "HIGH/LOW PRESSURE"
LAMP AT THE TOUCH PAD IS NOT ILLUMINATED. THE "POWER" LAMP AT
THE TOUCH PAD IS ILLUMINATED.
POSSIBLE CAUSE:
Interruption of power from the power source
o
Loose wire, check wires using wiring diagram
o
Someone pressed the "Stop" switch at the Touch Pad or at the Remote Control Touch Pad.
o
SYMPTOM 6: ULTRA VIOLET STERILIZER LAMP FLICKERS OR DOES NOT ILLUMINATE
WHEN THE "WATER QUALITY" LAMP IS ILLUMINATED GREEN.
POSSIBLE CAUSE:
U.V. lamp requires replacement
o
U.V. electronic circuit requires replacement
o
SYMPTOM 7: "WATER QUALITY" LAMP ON TOUCH PAD DOES NOT CHANGE FROM RED TO
GREEN AFTER 30 MINUTES OF NORMAL SYSTEM OPERATION.
POSSIBLE CAUSE:
Newly Installed System: R.O. Membrane Element has not been installed
o
Older System: R.O. Membrane Element requires cleaning or replacement
o
Worn product water O-ring within the R.O. Membrane/Vessel Assembly
o
Salinity Probe requires cleaning and or calibration
o
SYMPTOM 8: "FRESH WATER FLUSH" LAMP ON TOUCH PAD WAS BLINKING AFTER THE
LAST NORMAL SHUT DOWN BUT IS NO LONGER BLINKING.
POSSIBLE CAUSE:
Interruption of power from the power source
o
Someone pressed the "Stop" switch at the Touch Pad or at the Remote Control Touch Pad.
o
SYMPTOM 9: THE "WATER QUALITY" LAMP ON THE TOUCH PAD IS ILLUMINATED GREEN
DURING NORMAL OPERATION HOWEVER THE 3-WAY PRODUCT WATER
DIVERSION VALVE DOES NOT DIVERT POTABLE WATER TO THE POST
FILTRATION SECTION AND ON TO THE POTABLE WATER STORAGE TANK.
Loose wire, check wires from the Main Printed Circuit Board to the 3-Way Product Water Diversion
o
Valve using wiring diagram
The Control Printed Circuit Board may not be delivering 12 VDC to the solenoid.
o
The 3-Way Product Water Diversion Valve coil over heated and burnt out caused by high current due
o
to over adjustment of the water port orifice. The 3-way Product Water Diversion Valve may have a
damaged solenoid coil.
