b. POSSIBLE CAUSE: DIRTY AND PLUGGED PLANKTON FILTER [7] ELEMENT.
1) Press Reset Fault Switch to reset and turn off the "High/Low Pressure" Fault Lamp.
2). Start the System
IF The Feed Pump Inlet Compound Vacuum/Pressure Gauge [5] registers normal (near or at 0 [zero] PSI, yet
the Prefilter Inlet Pressure Gauge [12], Outlet Prefilter Pressure Gauge [16], and Operating Pressure Gauge
[18] all register lower than normal this would indicate that the Plankton Filter [7] (if installed) is dirty and
requires cleaning.
This could also indicate that the feed water pump requires servicing. If the internal components of the feed
water pump have been cavitated or worn from abrasive particles in the feed water the pump will lose its
ability to maintain pressure and flow. Refer to Feed Water Pump troubleshooting later in this section.

1. Clean the Plankton Filter Element [7]. Attempt to operate the system. If condition continues go to step
2 below.
2. Feed Water Pump is worn due to cavitation or fine particle debris and suspended solids abrasion and
requires re-building. Refer to Feed Water Pump troubleshooting later in this section.
