20. Insert the High Pressure Port Fitting with attached O-Rings into the High Pressure Port.
21. Replace the Port Retainer.
22. Insert the three-piece Segment Ring Set into the Segment Ring Groove of the High Pressure Vessel. Align
the Segment Ring Set with the tapped holes in the End Plug for insertion of the three Socket Head Cap
Screws. Attach the three Socket Head Cap Screws and tighten.
23. Connect the High Pressure Hoses to the respective fitting on the Pressure Vessel.
13. Brine Discharge Thru Hull Fitting [22]: Non Sea Recovery component. Keep the Brine Discharge Thru Hull
Fitting free and clear of debris and corrosion.
14. Salinity Probe [25]: The salinity probe requires cleaning once a year.
Salinity Probe Cleaning:
a. Unscrew the black tube fitting nut below the probe to disconnect it from the control manifold.
b. Using a cotton swab, or similiar soft material, wetted with clean water scrub the probe electrodes s to
remove any built up debris. DO NOT BEND THE ELECTRODES. Thoroughly dry the probe area.
c. Inspect the probe electrodes for any physical damage. If corrossion, pitting, or deformation exists replace
the probe.
d. Temporarily plug the open port of the Salanity Probe tube fitting so that no water will expel from the hole.
Press the "START" switch and wait for at least 10 seconds.
If the Salinity Probe is exposed to only air and the electrodes are clean and dry, the "WATER QUALITY"
LED should illuminate green. With the "WATER QUALITY" LED illuminated green the product water
is diverted to the potable product water port of the 3-way solenoid diversion valve and on to the post
filtration.
If the "WATER QUALITY" LED does NOT illuminate green while the system is still in operation
disconnect all probe wires from the main printed circuit board. At this point, if the "WATER QUALITY"
LED now illuminates green, with the probe wires disconnected, then replace the damaged or non functional
Salinity Probe with a new one.
e. Press the "STOP" Switch.
Salinity Probe Calibration:
f. Emerge the entire Salanity Probe into 1,000 PPM TDS Test Solution for 15 minutes to stabilize the
temperature.
g. Suspend the probe in the test solution. Do not allow the plastic guides or probes to touch the sides or
bottom of the test solution container.
h. Press the "START" Switch. Wait for minimum 10 seconds.
i. Locate the "SAL" adjustment potentiometer at the Main Printed Circuit Board. This is a multi-turn pot
which has 20 turns end to end.
j. Rotate the "SAL" pot adjustment 2 full turns counter clockwise. Allow a 5 second pause between each full
turn (each 360 degree rotation). Repeat this until the "WATER QUALITY" LED illuminates green.
k. Rotate the adjustment clockwise 90 degrees (1/4 turn) at a time until the "WATER QUALITY" LED
illuminates red.
