CLI Features
To use the CLI efficiently, you need to understand the following
features:
Case sensitivity—CLI syntax elements are not case-sensitive
except for strings.
Command abbreviations—You can abbreviate commands,
subcommands, and switches. You must provide enough
characters so the commands are not ambiguous.
Subcommand Mode—Subcommand mode simplifies
command entry when you are performing repetitive
commands on the same item. Subcommand mode works only
for commands that have one or more subcommands.
