Determining the IP address of the sensor

Below is a description of how to determine the IP address of the sensor. This is necessary when
the IP address was assigned via DHCP or the information about the statically set IP address is
no longer available. In general, there are 2 options for determining the IP address.
Option 1: Querying the IP address via mDNS
Instruction:
a) Open a browser.
b) Enter the following command in the address bar of the browser:
OXM200-[identifier].local
Replace [identifier] with the eight-digit article number or with the MAC address stated
on the sensor.
Replace OXM200 with the part of the sensor denomination before the -.
Both are found on the silver label of the sensor.
Example: OXM200-11218413.local or OXM200-11-22-33-44-55-66.local

The IP address of the sensor is displayed (in the example: 192.168.0.250):
"Pinging OXM200-12345678.local [192.168.0.250] with 32 bytes of data"
It is possible that you cannot access the sensor via your PC when entering the IP address of the
sensor. In this case, allocate a new IP address to your PC (see
PC
[} 52]). Make sure to allocate an IP address to the PC that is adjacent to the IP address of
the sensor, e.g.:
IP address of the PC: 192.168.0.251
n
