General information for mounting

We recommend 90° mounting.

If required, the optimal alignment of the sensor can be graphically supported by the mount-
n
ing assistant in the web interface.
Angled mounting is possible up to a 30° angle. To do so, go to the Parametrization |
n
Global Parametrization | Field of View mode in the the web interface and activate the
Flex Mount function (see
A well reflecting object is generally an object with a bright, diffuse surface, for example, matt
n
white or grey. A glossy surface can result in unstable and/or imprecise measurement res-
ults, depending on the angle and reflection.
The background should be dark, for example, matt black.
n
Power is supplied via:
n
▪ the Ethernet connection (if a Power-over-Ethernet infrastructure is available), or
▪ the electrical connection (M12 12-pin, A-coded, male).
