MAPPWR-G: A UEPO panel fault has been detected

For use by authorized service providers.
1. Is the SRC 1xxA-E206 or 1xxB-E206?
v No: Go to step 4 (See page 398).
v Yes: Continue with next step.
2. Is the room temperature at ambient (below 90 degrees fahrenheit)?
v No: Inform the customer to correct the room temperature. When the room temperature has been
corrected, press the Service Complete button on the EPO panel, and continue with next step.
v Yes: Press the Service Complete button on the EPO panel and continue with next step.
3. Does the SRC 1xxA-E206 or 1xxB-E206 continue to prevail after the room temperature is below 90
degrees fahrenheit and the Service Complete button on the EPO panel has been reset?
v Yes: Go to step 5 (See page 398).
v No: The ambient room temperature has corrected the problem.
This ends the procedure.
4. Check the unit emergency power off (UEPO) panel. Is the UEPO panel switch in the OFF position?
v No: Go to step 5 (See page 398).
v Yes: Switch the UEPO panel switch to the ON position. Go to Verify the repair.
This ends the procedure.
5. Exchange the following FRUs one at a time:
v UEPO card assembly. See the Final assembly - Models 870 and 890.
v Cable from the UEPO to BPC on the side referenced by the error code that sent you to this
procedure. See symbolic FRU "CBLPWR" on page 301.
v Bulk power controller (BPC) on the side referenced by the error code that sent you to this
procedure. See symbolic FRU "BPCPWR" on page 287.
After each FRU is exchanged, is the error code that sent you to this procedure still reported?
– No: The problem has been corrected. Go to Verify the repair.
This ends the procedure.
– Yes: Replace the next FRU on the list. If all FRUs on the list have been replaced, call your next
level of support.
This ends the procedure.

MAPPWR-H: An MCM fault has been detected

For use by authorized service providers.
Note: Read the Danger and caution notices in the "MAPPWR" on page 364 introduction before performing
this procedure.
1. Is the reference code 7E06 or 7F06?
v No: Go to step 2 (See page 399).
v Yes: Perform the following verifications, one at a time. See Locations — Models 870 and 890 with
an FC 9094 Base I/O Tower
a. Verify that the processor MCMs are plugged in a valid configuration.
b. Verify that the processor MCMs are seated properly.
c. Verify the processor VPD cards in the primary I/O book are of the proper number and are
positioned and seated correctly.
