Perform the following to display the Configuration ID:
Note: The system or frame that will display the ID MUST be powered down with ac applied.
a.
Select Function 07 on the system control panel and press Enter. (07** will display.)
b.
Use the arrow keys to increment / decrement to sub-function A8 and press Enter. (07A8 00 will
display)
c.
Use the arrow keys to increment / decrement to the frame address of the box you want to check
(usually 02, 03, etc. for the towers, 01 for system unit frames). (07nn will display where nn is the
frame address.) Press Enter. (07nn 00 will display.) The display on the addressed frame should
now be blinking on and off (Non-system unit only).
d.
The Configuration ID should now be displayed for the non-system unit. For a system unit, press
an arrow key (increment or decrement) twice to display the ID (first 07** will be displayed then
07nn will be displayed, where nn is the Configuration ID). See Table 3. Configuration ID below.

No: Continue with the next step.

Perform the following to set frame Configuration ID:

Enter. (07A9 00 will be displayed)

Use the arrow keys to increment / decrement to the frame address of the box you want to set the
Configuration ID (usually 02, 03, etc. for the towers, 01 for system unit frames). (07nn will be
displayed where nn is the frame address) Press Enter. (07nn 00 will be displayed.) The display
on the addressed frame should now be blinking on and off (Non-system unit only).
d.
Select the correct Configuration ID from the following table:
