v Yes: Choose from the following:

– For Processor feature code 7400, 23E7, 7408, 7404, 7406, 7407, 7409, 7410, 7412: Replace
Regulator R01 (see Locations - Models 800 and 810).
– For removable Processor feature code 7430, 7428: Replace processor (see Locations - Models 800
and 810).
– For all other feature codes, use Processor type numbers for Models 800 and 810 in symbolic FRU
"CCIN" on page 303 to determine the processor type to be replaced.
This ends the procedure.

The C in the SRC (1xxC xxxx) indicates the problem is on the system processor frame.
Attention: To avoid thermal damage to other cards when exchanging regulators, you must put the EMC
shield for the CEC regulator in place before powering on the system.
Attention: AC power must be removed from the system before removing or installing regulator 3.
1. Is the SRC 1xxC xxxx?
v No: Go to step 5 (See page 429).
v Yes: Find the system unit reference code (URC) in the following table, and exchange the part that
is listed for the system unit. If the URC is not listed in this table, then continue with the next step.
