C.5 Protective housing
Note
Mounting note for IP68 protection
The degree of protection IP68 is only ensured when the lid screws are tightened with the
designated torque and all drill holes in the housing are closed with the intended accessories
(cable gland or sealing plug and cabinet feedthrough or lightning protection element).
Keep to the following torques:
• Lid screws: 2.5 Nm
• Cable gland M16 adapter: 3.5 .. 4.5 Nm
• Sealing plugs M16: Fit hand-tight with a tool: 2.5 .. 3.5 Nm
• Pressure equalization element M12 (premounted): 1.5 Nm
• Cabinet feedthrough/lightning protection element 1.5 Nm
