4.20 Telecontrol
● Subscriber number master station TIM
Subscriber number of the communications partner (TIM)
● Subscriber number master station CPU
Subscriber number of the CPU of the communications partner

● Subscriber number of the CPU (RTU)
Even if the RTU doe not have a separate CPU, this information is required for the
connection configuration on the partner. Enter the value of an as yet unused subscriber
number.
● User name
MSC user name for identification of the RTU by the MSC master station
A different user name must be configured for each MSC station.
● Password
MSC password for identification of the RTU by the MSC master station
A different password must be configured for each MSC station.
Transmission settings
A connection establishment for example via the mobile wireless network can take several
seconds. This depends on the particular network, on the current network load and on any
maintenance work of the network provider.
If the telecontrol server is unreachable, the RTU repeats its attempts to establish a
connection to the telecontrol server.
● Key exchange interval
Interval in hours after which the key is exchanged again between the RTU and the
communications partner. The key is a security function of the transmission protocol
"MSCsec".
The parameter has a default value of 1 hour.
● Discard events as long as the time of day is invalid.
If the option is enabled the values of data points configured as an event will be discarded
until the time of day of the RTU is synchronized or set.
This may be the case, for example, during startup of the RTU.
