Overview
Overview
The Overview displays the most important parameters of communication with the partner
and statistical data on the send buffer of the RTU.
Telecontrol status
The following information is shown:
● Protocol type
Protocol used for the connection to the communications partner in the master station
● Connection to the master station / to the master
Indicates whether or not a connection to the communications partner exists.
● Connection exists to the master PLC
Only for ST7: Indicates whether or not a connection is established to the CPU of the
master station TIM.
● Address of the master station
Configured IP address or host name of the communications partner in the master station
● Connected since (dd:hh:mm:ss)
Duration of the existing connection to the communications partner
Send buffer
Here, data on the memory occupation of the send buffer (frame memory) of the RTU is
displayed.
The values of tags configured as an event are saved in the send buffer. You specify whether
a tag is transferred as an event on the page. "TeleControl" > "Data points" with the "Type of
transfer"
● Send buffer - current level
Current fill level of the send buffer
● Send buffer - average level
Average fill level of the send buffer over the last 16 communication cycles
Data transferred by events is not taken into account here
● Send buffer - highest level
Highest fill level of the send buffer reached since the last startup of the RTU.
