4.13 WAN
● Specify DNS server addresses manually
If the option is activated, you can configure one or two DNS servers for the network of the
mobile wireless interface.
– Preferred DNS server
– Alternative DNS server
As the host name, the station name of the RTU configured in the "System" tab is used.
● Notifications
Here you specify whether a message (SMS or e-mail) is sent to a configured group of
recipients if the IP address changes (with dynamic assignment).
This function represents a simple alternative to the DynDNS service. To do this you do
not require a DynDNS provider.
● Change immediately to communication mode
If the option is enabled, the RTU changes immediately to communication mode.
If the option is disabled, the RTU changes to communication mode only at the next
configured time or the time assigned by an SMS message.
● Recipient group
Here, enter the recipient group for the message. You configure recipient groups on the
WBM page "Recipient / Groups".
Unlocking the SIM card
If you have entered the PIN incorrectly three times , the SIM card will be locked and you then
need to unlock the SIM card:.
1. Remove the SIM card only when the power supply the RTU is turned off, refer to the
section Inserting the SIM card and SD card (Page 56).
2. Insert the removed SIM card in a mobile phone.
3. Unlock the SIM card by entering the PUK or the Super PIN.
You will have received the PUK or super PIN from your mobile wireless network provider
along with the SIM card.
4. Place the unlocked card back in the RTU.
5. After restarting the RTU enter the correct PIN via this WBM page.

Enter the IP address of the preferred server.
Enter the IP address of a substitute server.
If no substitute server is available, enter the address of the preferred server.
