The data point index is used for addressing.
Range of values: 0 .. 65534
– A data point must have the same index in the station and in the master.
– The indexes of two data points in different object groups can be identical.
– Data point indexes must be unique within one of the following object groups:
● IEC
The data point index is used for addressing. it corresponds to the Address of the
information object of the specification.
Range of values: 0 .. 16777215
The indexes must be unique for every data point over all data points (digital inputs, digital
outputs, analog inputs etc.).
Object number, Object channel, Partner object number, Bit no.
Use with ST7
The data to be transferred is configured with SINAUT objects.
● Object number
The object number serves the unique addressing of the send and receive objects
corresponding between the communications partners.
● Object channel
The SINAUT objects process several process values of the same type.
The object channels of the individual objects address the individual process values, e.g.
the individual bits of a command byte.
● Bit no.
With this parameter you address one of the eight command bits (0 .. 7) in the byte of the
command objects "Bin08X_S" and "Bin08X_R".
● Partner object number
Object number of the corresponding object on the communications partner
