● Specify IP address manually

– IP address
– Subnet mask
● Specify DNS server addresses manually
If the option is activated, you can configure one or two DNS servers for the LAN.
– Preferred DNS server
– Alternative DNS server
Any addresses obtained from a DHCP server are overwritten.
● Use router
If you use a router, activate the option.
– Router address
An address obtained from a DHCP server is overwritten.
● DHCP server active
If the option is active the RTU assigns the IP address and the DND server to the
configuration PC to be connected.
As default the DHCP server function of the RTU is activated.
Note
IP addresses of the configuration PC
When using a DHCP server you do not need to specify the addressing on the
configuration PC to be connected. When the PC is connected to the RTU, the RTU
assigns the PC an IP address. This is the next higher address after the RTU's own
address.
If the option is deactivated, you will need to assign a fixed IP address in the same subnet
as the RTU to the connected configuration PC manually.
