Description
Screen Notes made in the patient Admit window will be displayed on the Main Screen. Yes
means they will be displayed. No means they will not be displayed.

• IEC
Note—IEC alarm sounds are only supported on IntelliVue and TeleMon Patient Monitors. V24
and CMS monitors only support Traditional (CareNet) alarm sounds. If the Information Center
has a mix of these monitor types, configure the Information Center to use CareNet in order to
have consistent alarm sounds across these monitoring devices. Verify all the monitors are
configured for the Traditional (CareNet) alarm sounds also.
Buttons for recording and/or storing waveforms display on the Main Screen
• Record means that a button for recording waveforms will be shown.
• Store means that a button for storing waveforms will be shown.
• Both means that buttons for both recording and storing waveforms will be shown.
Button for silencing bedside monitor alarms at the device appears in Patient Sectors. Yes
means that a silencing button appears. No means it does not appear and alarms can only be
silenced at the bedside monitor.
Browser
If enabled, the
button is present on the All Controls window. The
used to open a web browser for viewing browser based applications when an Application Server
is connected.
Active only if HL7 Export option is selected in the Purchased Options and Support Information
page.
When selected, a HL7 Configuration window opens:
• LAN Based Monitors only: Enable or Disable. If enabled, only data originating from
LAN monitors (M2/M3/M4 or IntelliVue Patient Monitors) is sent.
• Send Alert Messages: Enable or Disable. If enabled, alert, INOP, and parameter data is
output in HL7.
• Send Aperiodic Data: Enable or Disable. If enabled, aperiodic measurements (e.g.
noninvasive blood pressure) is included in the HL7 output.
• Send Patient Name: Enable or Disable. If enabled, the patient name is included in the
HL7 output. This may not be allowed per hospital policy.
• Target: Specifies the HL7-client host name that the HL7 data is to be exported to.
