3.1.5.2 Example of an Input Process Image
The following figure is an example of an input process image.
The configuration comprises 16 digital and 8 analog inputs.
The input process image thus has a data length of 8 words for the analog mod-
ules and 1 word for the digital modules; i.e., 9 words in total.
