Installation
1. Clean door handle and mating face on door.
2. Install external door handle, install and torque tighten
nuts (x3).
3. Connect inner and outer cable to external door handle.
4. Install door trimboard (see Workshop Manual procedure
01.05.CB Trimboard Assembly - Door - Remove for
Access & Refit).

Reduced Guard Switch-Renew

Removal
1. Open driver's door, release reduced guard switch and
disconnect multiplug.
Installation
1. Open driver's door, connect multiplug and install
reduced guard switch in aperture

Passenger Airbag On/Off Switch-Renew

Removal
Repair Operation Time (ROT)

Passenger Airbag On/Off Switch-Renew
1. Disconnect battery and wait ten minutes for airbag
capacitor to discharge
2. Disconnect multiplug from passenger airbag on/off
switch.
3. Open passenger door and release switch catches and
withdraw switch
Installation
1. Insert switch into IP unit and push in until clips are
secure, reconnect multiplug.
2. Connect battery

Tailgate Release Switch-Renew

Removal
1. Remove tailgate trim panel (see Workshop Manual
procedure 01.05.EF Trim - Tailgate Lid Assembly -
Renew).
2. Disconnect multiplug
3. Release harness from tailgate
4. Remove securing nuts (x2), place switch to one side
Installation
1. Install switch and secure with nuts (x2)
2. Secure harness to tailgate
3. Connect multiplug
