Rear Lights (17.03)

The rear light cluster is a sealed unit. If any light which fails
to illuminate is traced back to the rear light cluster, replace
the whole unit.

Removal
1. Open tailgate.
2. Remove tyre sealant container (RH only).
3. Partially remove tailgate seal (see Fig. 1).
4. Partially release carpet from body.

5. Remove nuts (x3), star washers (x3), plain washers (x3)
and rubber seals (x3) (see Fig. 2).
6. Disconnect multiplug and remove rear lamp assembly
(see Fig. 3).
Installation
1. Position rear lamp assembly and connect multiplug.
2. Install rubber seals (x3), plain washers (x3) and star
washers (x3).
3. Install and tighten nuts (x3).
4. Secure carpet to body.
5. Install tailgate seal to body.
6. Install tyre sealant container (RH only).
7. Close talgate.

1. Remove tailgate trim panel (see Workshop Manual
procedure 01.05.EF Trim - Tailgate Lid Assembly -
Renew).
2. Disconnect multiplug.
