1. Disconnect vehicle battery.
2. Drain cooling system (see Workshop Procedure
03.03.AD Coolant - Drain & Refill).
3. Evacuate air conditioning system (see Workshop
Procedure 12.03.FA Tank - Receiver Drier - Renew).
4. Remove RH door (see Workshop Procedure 01.03.EA
Door Assembly - RH - Remove for Access & Refit).

5. Remove tread plate badges - screws x2 (see Fig.1).

6. Remove screws (x12) 6 each side and remove LH and
RH side tread plates.
7. Release door seal from door aperture (see Fig. 2).
