Heater Feed Hose-Renew

Repair Operation Time (ROT)

Heater Feed Hose-Renew
Removal
1. Coolant drain (see Workshop Manual procedure
03.03.AD Coolant - Drain & Refill).
2. Remove throttle body (see Workshop Manual
procedure 03.04.HC Throttle Body Gasket - Renew).
3. Disconnect hose assy from heater feed hose (quickfit).
4. Remove hose from clips (x2).
5. Disconnect hose assy from engine (clip x1) and feed
from under inlet manifold.
Installation
1. Feed under inlet manifold and connect hose assy to
engine (clip x1).
2. Install hose from clips (x2).
3. Connect hose assembly to heater return hose (quickfit).
4. Install throttle body (see Workshop Manual procedure
03.04.HC Throttle Body Gasket - Renew).
5. Refill coolant (see Workshop Manual procedure
03.03.AD Coolant - Drain & Refill).

Heater Return Hose Assembly- Renew

Removal
1. Coolant drain (see Workshop Manual procedure
03.03.AD Coolant - Drain & Refill).
2. Disconnect hose assembly from heater return hose
(quickfit).
3. Remove hose from clips (x2).
4. Disconnect hose assy from engine (clip x1).
Installation
1. Connect hose assy to engine (clip x1).
2. Install hose from clips (x2).
3. Connect hose assembly to heater return hose (quickfit).
4. Refill coolant (see Workshop Manual procedure
03.03.AD Coolant - Drain & Refill).

Heater Outlet Hose-Renew

1. Remove I.P . (see Workshop Manual procedure
01.12.AB Facia Assembly - LHD - Remove for Access &
Refit).
2. Disconnect hose from engine pipe (quickfit) and release
from clips.
October 2005
3. Release hose from bulkhead clip and feed from behind
inlet manifold.
Installation
Code
1. Install hose behind inlet manifold and into bulkhead
03.03.LA
clip.
2. Connect hose to engine pipe (quickfit) and into clips.
3. Refit I.P. (see Workshop Manual procedure 01.12.AB
Facia Assembly - LHD - Remove for Access & Refit).

Engine Vent Hose Assembly-Renew

Removal
1. Release pressure in cooling system.
2. Place cloth to absorb coolant.
3. Remove hose from throttle body (clip x1).
4. Remove hose from expansion tank pipe (clip x1).
Installation
1. Install hose to expansion tank pipe (clip x1).
2. Install hose to throttle body (clip x1).
3. Remove cloth and clean engine.
4. Top-up coolant.

2. Disconnect bottom hose (clip x1).
3. Disconnect top hose (clip x1).
4. Disconnect expansion tank feed hose (quickfit).
5. Disconnect heater feed hose (clip x1).
