Using Other Functions During Music
Playback
You can play the music and Music&Video Channel
program while using other functions.
When you connect the flat-plug stereo earphone
set (optional) or the flat-plug earphone/microphone
with switch (optional), etc. to the FOMA terminal,
use the Earphone Plug Adapter for External
connector terminal. → p.25
You cannot use the BGM in the Music&Video
Channel programs of i-motion.

"Switch to BGM"
The standby screen appears and you can use
other functions.
■ To quit the Music Player
"Quit music"/"Quit Music&Video ch"
■ To quit the BGM play
Change a task to the music group, and stop the Music
Player. → p.283

*1: When "Receiving setting" of mail is set to "Alarm
preferred", the music playback pauses when receiving a
mail (even when set to "Operation preferred", the music
playback pauses when receiving a mail while the standby
screen is displayed). When composing i-mode mail, some
functions such as "Activate camera" are not available.
*2: Activating i-αppli pauses playback.
● Playing when the FOMA terminal is
folded
The side key enables you to operate the Music Player
with the FOMA terminal folded.
Music tracks and Music&Video Channel programs
can be played with the FOMA terminal folded.
However, only music tracks can activate with the
FOMA terminal folded.
