3.2.1 Internal Calibration via the I/O

Action: Isolate the leak detector from the test system.

3.2.2 Full External Calibration via the I/O

Manual full external calibration (Tune, Offset, & Ext. Calibration)
Output: Ready/Test_Out - pin 6 high
Input: Parallel_Enable - pin 25 high
Action: Place the leak detection test system in the Test/Measurement mode external
calibrated leak on.
Input: Tune_In - pin 20 pulse
Output: Busy_Out - pin 7 high
Output: Tune-Ok - pin 1 High (if successful)
Action: Isolate the external calibrated leak from the system.
Input: Offset_In - pin 18 pulse
Output: Busy - pin7 high
Action: Place the leak detection test system in the Test/Measurement mode external
calibrated leak on.
VS Series Component Leak Detector
If the system was recently calibrated before shut down, it can
NOTE
be used for qualitative testing. Read the standard leak to verify
accuracy. For more accurate quantitative leak values, perform a
calibration 30 minutes after start-up.
To accurately read in the most sensitive decades of each
working range, perform a tune, calibration and offset, and
internal or external calibration after a 20-30 minute warm up.
The VS C15 Base unit is always in Test/Measurement mode.
