The commands listed in Table 4-4 are used to cause an immediate change in the
spectrometer operating parameters. These commands do not change the non-volatile
operating parameters.

Table 4-4 Spectrometer Operating Parameters
Sets the exponent leak range for Manual mode. Preceded by a two-character
numbers. Acceptable values are 0 through -10. Unacceptable values will not
be stored. This command is ignored if the system is in internal calibrated leak
mode.
A three digit number of volts, in the range 200 to 350, which sets the ion
voltage of the ion source.
A four digit number of microamps, in the range 0300 to 2000, which sets the
emission current of the ion source.
If the system is in the standard leak mode, it sets the value of the (internal) gain
used for adjusting the helium signal to match an internal standard leak. If the
system is in TEST mode, it sets the value of the (external) gain used for
adjusting the helium signal to match an external calibrated leak. Preceded by a
one or up to three-digit number and one decimal point. In the range 0.2 to 9.0
for the internal calibrated leak gain and 0.2 to 150.0 for the external calibrated
leak gain.
Sets the Range Stop exponent. Preceded by two or three characters -XX or –X.
This command is ignored if the system is in internal calibrated leak mode.

Initiates auto-ranging mode. Success is indicated by the normal ok
response.
Initiates a Full or Fast calibration depending on which leak is chosen
do the routine.
Internal Calibration: Full calibration only
External Calibration: Fast calibration only
Subtracts 1 from the Manual Ranging leak rate exponent (making it
more negative). Success is indicated by the normal ok response. Does
nothing in auto-ranging mode. Does nothing upon reaching the most
sensitive range.
