CAUTION
Table 1-1 Installation Requirements
Place the Base unit in OEM leak detection system in an orientation
close to a 24 VDC power source.
Connect the C15 vacuum flange on a tee junction between the
backing pump and the test chamber. To achieve fast test cycle time,
the diameter of the interconnecting pipe should be as large as
possible. The length of the interconnecting pipe should be a short as
possible. This ensures the system is not limited by gas conduction in
the interconnecting vacuum pipes.
Place the VS C15as close as possible to the test chamber.
Maintain a 4" clearance for proper ventilation and sufficient room
for the operator to safely maneuver and for Interface cables
connections.
Either (depends on configuration ordered):
With a 24 VDC external universal AC-DC power supply.
Provide:
Mains supply: (100 to 230) VAC ±10% 50/60 Hz, 10 A min
Local branch Power Switch/Circuit breaker – 10 A
Without a 24 VDC power supply.
Provide:
24 VDC ± 5%, 5 A min
Local Power Switch 10 A min
Must not exceed ±10% of the nominal voltage.
Pollution Degree 2 per EN61010-1 Standard.
